My mother was a patient at Davita in Carroll County until I moved her to a different facility. The
conversations and behaviors that occurred during patient treatments was a disgrace. An associate
degree nurse is running the clinic that allows this behavior to continue on the floors. This is
probably do to the lack of advanced nursing education. One of the staff members, I believe she is a
nurse, behavior was appalling. She would have been terminated at other healthcare facilities.
Rubbing up against male patients or talking about her breast to male patients is not acceptable
behavior when caring for patients. The technicians and the nurses need more training on how to treat
others, such as patients and co-workers. I have never seen co-workers, both men and women, back-stab
their colleagues in front of patients the way this staff does. If you have a loved one that needs
dialysis I would think twice about sending them to Davita on Stoner Road in Westminster, MD 21157.
